My first portrait was taken in the natural light of sunset. The girls appear to be looking off into a distance and I choose a slightly upward angle to shoot this portrait show. I like how the light from the sun behind shines through their hair.
The second image was inspired by the lady in the tutorial. I thought the light blue scarf brought out the blue in her eyes. This is more of a close up shot with the main focus on the eyes.
Third image is more in a posed setting, I tried to get the color scheme to be close with the blues/blue-green. The lighting is a florscent with flash. The glasses were to inspire a creative flare as they are fake.
Fourth Image is with a prop, that actually almost matches the color-scheme. More of a candid shot taken in the corner of a room, where the angles of the corner give a depth to the photo.

LOVE the blue scarf one, wow, is that gorgeous. The two girls is lovely too, although I would have tweaked the shadows a bit so you could see a tiny bit more of their faces.
ReplyDeleteI somehow missed this post last week. I LOVE that second photo with the blue scarf. It's so striking! Beautiful!
