This has been a little frustrating in getting this photo the way I wanted it. I think that this one is a little better than the first option. I searched on the options within photoshop elements to help me with working with more of their tools and this is what I came up with. Looks a little 3D"ish". I think that this will be fun software once I learn how to use it better.

I too have been having issues trying to figure out photoshop elements. I wish there was a better tutorial or instructions. I think it will be fun learning all that it can do!
ReplyDeleteI think your photo is great!! It's much better than mine! I'm super frustrated with the whole photoshop/gimp thing...it's more frustrating because you get an idea in your head of the way you want your image to turn out, but then it's just not what you had envisioned. All of the different tools are wicked confusing too, so for as difficult as this assignment has been, I think you did a great job!
ReplyDeletePaula, great job with the image manipulation! I think you did a great job! I totally see what you were trying to do and placing the snow machines on the road was a wonderful idea! Again great job!
ReplyDeletePhotoshop and GIMP require hands-on exploration like all software in order to master it. As you use it I bet you'll begin to find ways to do what you want. If you have specific questions feel free to ask.
ReplyDeleteOn this shot if you select the background of the snowmobile layer with your magic wand tool (PS) or erase it using your erase brush, you'll then have just the snowmobiles and be able to size them and turn and place them exactly the way you think they'll look most realistic on the trail background.
